Our 8.5" Chefs knives are the perfect all-rounder capable of everything from vegetable and meat preparation through to carving.

Each features an 8.5" Japanese AUS-10 steel blade and hand carved handle in either walnut, beech or rosewood.

Free shipping is included with every UK order.

Due to Christmas demand UK knife orders are currently taking 2-3 days to arrive.

Shipping to Europe costs £15 and takes 3-5 days.

Shipping to USA, Canada and the rest of the World costs £25 and takes 5-7 days.

You can return your order free of charge for 100 days after purchase. Just email hello@katto.shop or call +44(0)7799 484 041 to arrange this.

Please note this does not apply to engraved orders which are non-refundable.

We offer a free knife sharpening service to all Katto customers.

Every knife comes gift wrapped in brown paper and string. We include a complimentary tote bag, a penny for luck and a few other goodies too.

All our knives are handmade in our Sheffield workshop by our Master Craftsman, Mike. To find out more click here.

It is illegal to sell knives to anyone under the age of 18.

Accordingly we operate a strict Challenge 25 policy through our delivery partner, DPD. And all our packages are clearly marked as containing sharp objects.

So if you're lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked to show ID.

We also the UK government approved online tool Age Checked.

From time-to-time Age Checked may contact you to verify your age so that we can safely dispatch your order.

Amazing gift

I've bought chef's knife as a birthday gift for my partner. He's very impressed with its performance. I chose rosewood handle with leather scabbard and engraving.It was nicely wrapped with extra gifts.Will definitely buy one more knife here.

The best knife I’ve ever used

Great, well priced, sassy knife

So far, after many months, I haven't seen any fall off in sharpness. Looks beautiful as a thing even if it wasn't functional, and yet it is ... and really good. Handle build quality is sturdy, the blade is heavy enough to handle a celeriac for example but fine enough to enact precise slicing and chopping. Will continue to purchase items from here.
