Few cocktails are as bold or as beloved as the Bloody Mary. A savoury blend of spice, citrus, and rich tomato, it’s a drink that wears many hats: hangover cure, brunch staple, or just a savoury sipper that packs a punch. Its beauty lies in its versatility, with endless ways to tweak the heat, seasoning, or spirit. But at its core, the Bloody Mary is all about balance and flavour.

Classic Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

 

To garnish:

  • Celery stick
  • Cornichons
  • Lemon wedge
  • Salt rim

 

Method:

Roll (don’t shake) all ingredients with ice between two shakers to mix. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass.

Garnish with a celery stick, a cornichon, and a lemon wedge, and The Pickle House's Bloody Mary Salt (a blend of smoked Maldon sea salt, cayenne pepper, lemon salt and celery salt).
