WELCOME

Congratulations on becoming the owner of a Katto knife.

Register your warranty and discover how to care for your knife below.

THE LUCKY PENNY

You may have noticed that your knife came with a lucky penny.

This stems from an old Norse superstition that gifting a knife brings bad luck, as the exchange of a blade is said to symbolise the cutting of a friendship.

To avoid this, the recipient gives the giver a coin in return, transforming the gift into a purchase and preserving the friendship.

Seeing as you've already given us rather more than a penny, we thought it only right to return the favour.

Here's hoping your new knife brings you many happy years in the kitchen.
