Is usual very high quality standard from Katto. I am using scabbards since I cannot store all the knives in my knife stand. The scabbard makes it very safe to store the knives in a drawer as well as to transport for self-catering holidays. The leather is strong, the stiching is neat and the fastening is easy to open and close. The knife glides in without any friction on the blade's cutting edge. A very worthwhile investment.

The leather scabbard design has been upgraded since my last purchase with Katto, and it is ideal for its purpose. The new clasp means the knife if held more securely and feels safer to handle and store without risk of the knife slipping out its cover. Its beautifully hand crafted.
