A few months ago I purchased a Japanese chef's knife. My intentions was that it would be my only 'good' knife. I liked it so much, however, that I decided I 'needed' another and have now got a Santoku. I keep them razor sharp and they are a real pleasure to use. On this occasion, DPD badly mishandled delivery so a replacement had to be organised. I have no hesitation in recommending the knives. Indeed, I might 'need' to add another one at some point in the future.
