Our Japanese steel bread knives are fiercely serrated, allowing them to glide through even the toughest sourdough.

Each features a 10.5" Japanese AUS-10 steel blade and hand carved handle in either walnut, beech or rosewood.

Free shipping is included with every UK order.

Due to Christmas demand UK knife orders are currently taking 2-3 days to arrive.

Shipping to Europe costs £15 and takes 3-5 days.

Shipping to USA, Canada and the rest of the World costs £25 and takes 5-7 days.

You can return your order free of charge for 100 days after purchase. Just email hello@katto.shop or call +44(0)7799 484 041 to arrange this.

Please note this does not apply to engraved orders which are non-refundable.

Every knife comes gift wrapped in brown paper and string. We include a complimentary tote bag, a penny for luck and a few other goodies too.

It is illegal to sell knives to anyone under the age of 18.

Accordingly we operate a strict Challenge 25 policy through our delivery partner, DPD. And all our packages are clearly marked as containing sharp objects.

So if you're lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked to show ID.

We also the UK government approved online tool Age Checked.

From time-to-time Age Checked may contact you to verify your age so that we can safely dispatch your order.

This knife is incredibly sharp and beautiful to look at, a real work of art. It glides through crusty bread as if it wasn’t there. I highly recommend Katyo knives.

I love the knife, it is by far the best bread knife I've ever owned. Beautifully made too. My only criticism is that the only scabbard available to buy is a leather one - please offer a vegan friendly alternative! I also had a very frustrating time with DPD Local delivery, so maybe worth trying another courier? I saw in other reviews that other people had problems too.

Beautiful and functional

This is my second Katto knife and I’m pleased to report that it’s as beautiful as anticipated. It’s well weighted and the quality is incredible. Would love to see a boning knife added to the range.
